An online magazine with ideas for using multimedia to engage and inspire students in their learning. Although most of the software mentioned and used is Tech4Learning software, similar types of software from other sources could be used to accomplish many of the same activities.

Teacher Tube

This site is exactly like You Tube except it only contains education related videos created by teachers and students. This is an excellent site for posting and sharing student work. (Before posting student work on the Internet it’s best to get parental permission.)
These videos can be shared with others and/or downloaded for viewing at any time.

This incredible multimedia web site contains a wealth of information and inspiration for innovative teaching. There are many videos and articles demonstrating good teaching using technology to engage students in their learning. This organization also publishes a free magazine that teachers can subscribe to.

Atomic Learning

Hundreds of “step-by-step” movie tutorials on how to use most software used by teachers and students. There is a subscription fee to access the entire site, but there are several free tutorials available.

Apple Learning Exchange

This part of the Apple web site contains hundreds of ideas shared by teachers on how they have used student created technology projects in their classrooms.
