As the integration of educational technology has evolved in our institutions, we have had the opportunity to experience much innovation and growth. Over the past 13 years, The Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities has provided a vehicle to showcase these exemplary practices through its annual event, Classrooms of the Future.

As academic technology has impacted all aspects of our institutions, it seems that the classrooms of the future are here and that we need to focus on the enormous potential and formidable challenges it brings. It is in this spirit of reflection that the collective members of the ACTC have opted to step back from organizing the annual Classrooms of the Future in order to reevaluate how our conference can best serve our institutions and all of you who have participated over the years. We will meet often during this coming year to design and develop a new initiative that reflects the ongoing needs of our educational community. To that end, we also look to each of you to provide us with valuable input that will inform our future direction during the planning year to come.
