Human Resources Committee

The ACTC Human Resources Committee 
dates to 1984 and is among the oldest continuously functioning groups of the consortium. In fact, a group of then personnel directors held informal meetings in the early 1970s to compare job functions and salary data for like positions. In a sense the HR Committee actually pre-dates the formation and incorporation of the ACTC.

Annual activities include:

  • development and implementation of an in-house training and development program for staff, with seminars offered monthly from October through April

  • a confidential salary survey of the five ACTC institutions, plus St. Olaf and Carleton colleges

  • a confidential benefits survey of the five ACTC institutions, plus St. Olaf and Carleton colleges

  • oversight of the ACTC Tuition Waiver Policy

  • educational seminars for human resources directors and their staff

The ACTC Human Resources is a subcommittee of the ACTC Business Officers Committee.
